Who We are
The Reign is a grass-roots non-profit 501(c)3 within the city of Portland, OR. We give kids who love basketball a place to feel inspired, challenged, and part of a community they are proud of.
Each year around 500 kids participate in our programs, play hundreds of games, and travel the country, challenging themselves and each other to become better athletes, and community members.
The Reign provides every child with the opportunity to improve their basketball skills while developing confidence, discipline, and a passion for physical activity.
Progress, not profit
Courts, refs, flights, coaches, tournament fees, meals, uniforms, and equipment all have a cost. So for too many families, year-round basketball is out of reach. Not for of lack of passion, not for lack of skill, but for lack of money.
For many of our kids, basketball is more than a sport, it's the key to unlocking lifelong opportunity, specifically through college scholarships.
Our goal is to "play-free" and remove all financial barriers to youth basketball.
We can only do that with your help.
